US-based UltraBac Software has appointed MSC Malaysia status firm Vanilla Applications as an exclusive agent for its backup and disaster recovery solutions throughout Southeast Asia.
Ultrabac Software chief executive officer and founder, Morgan Edwards, said, “Our Continuous Image Protection (CIP) and bare metal disaster recovery software is particularly well suited to the needs of small and medium enterprises in Southeast Asia.”

Vanilla Applications co-founder Melina Hwang said the company’s team included data protection professionals with many years of experience in the Southeast Asian market. Their goal in partnering with UltraBac Software is to develop and support channels with designs to actively increase the number of UltraBac users in the region, she said.

Partner recruitment drive
